About Roberta (Robin) Binder Heath, Attorney

Roberta (Robin) Binder Heath

Attorney Robin Binder Heath has been practicing law for over 30 years. She is an experienced trial lawyer in both state and federal courts. Her clients include school districts, intermediate units, large and small businesses, contractors, Huntingdon County, Police Associations in Blair County, and individuals. She maintains high ethical standards and believes in a commitment to excellence in serving her clients.

Attorney Heath received a law degree in 1987 from the University of Notre Dame where she graduated in the top 12% of her class. She began her legal practice in Philadelphia in 1987 working for 11 years handling cases involving personal injury, commercial litigation, school law, environmental law, and anti-trust litigation. In 1998, she returned to Central Pennsylvania and worked for an Altoona law firm where she was a partner until she opened her own firm in 2010.

Attorney Heath is from Huntingdon, Pa., and is a 1980 graduate of the Huntingdon Area High School. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated cum laude in 1983 with a degree in English Literature, History and Psychology. As part of her educational experience, she attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, in the prestigious exchange program where she focused on English literature and history. In addition, during her second year of law school she attended the Concannon Law Program in London, England.

Attorney Heath's practice focuses on business law and human resource management, with an emphasis on labor and employment law, as well as school law. In addition to her legal practice, she has taught Business Law and Employment Law at Juniata College for the past 20 years.

Attorney Heath is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania School Boards Association, Pennsylvania Association of School Board Officials, Society of Human Resource Management, Huntingdon County Bar Association, Blair County Bar Association, Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce, and the Huntingdon Rotary Club.

An active member of her community, Attorney Heath serves as the President of the Huntingdon Area School District Educational Foundation. She also volunteers with Huntingdon County Business & Industry and the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Attorney Heath is on the Loan Review Committee for Huntingdon County Business & Industry. She also is a member of Huntingdon's Junior Achievement Board and was the Campaign chairman for 2017-18 and the Leadership Huntingdon County Steering committee. In the past, Attorney Heath was a board member for the Huntingdon County Library, Blair Park Association and the Salvation Army and Huntingdon House. She is a graduate of Leadership Huntingdon County as well.
